From the Sea to the Sky

A cultural and historical trip that gives you the chance to learn a lot about country contrast.

Unique tour during which you can see some spectacular view points, incredibly beautiful places and historical monuments

The contrast between the coastal and mountainous regions of Montenegro provides a unique opportunity for travelers to enjoy both the tranquility of the Adriatic coastline and the adventure of the high-altitude mountain areas.

The Bay of Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is particularly noteworthy for its natural beauty and historic significance. The combination of natural beauty, historic architecture, and a charming atmosphere makes Kotor a popular destination for tourists seeking a unique and visually stunning experience.

Lovćen Serpentine is a remarkable route that offers both adventure and stunning views as you transition from the coast to the highlands.

Itinerary

The journey "from the sea" begins with Montenegro's stunning coastline.  First stop will be at Kotor old town which is a well-preserved medieval gem with narrow, winding streets, historic stone buildings, and charming squares. The town is a maze of cobbled alleys and squares, making it a joy to explore.

Our trip will be continued via  "Lovćen Serpentine". It is a historic and scenic mountain road located in Montenegro, connecting the coastal town of Kotor with the Lovćen National Park. It's famous for its numerous hairpin bends, offering stunning views and a memorable driving experience. The Lovćen Serpentine offers some of the most breathtaking panoramic views in Montenegro. As you ascend, you'll be treated to spectacular vistas of the Bay of Kotor and the surrounding coastal area. The road provides numerous opportunities to stop and take in the scenery, so it's a popular spot for photographers and sightseers. At the top of the serpentine road, you'll find yourself in Lovćen National Park. This park is known for its natural beauty, hiking trails, and the mausoleum of Petar II Petrovic Njegos, a revered Montenegrin leader and poet.

Visiting Cetinje after exploring Lovćen is a great idea as Cetinje is located near the Lovćen National Park and offers a fascinating contrast to the natural beauty of the park. Some of the must-visit places include the Cetinje Monastery, the Biljarda (a royal palace), and the King Nikola Museum. These sites offer insight into Montenegro's past and its royal history. Cetinje is often referred to as the cultural capital of Montenegro. It has a rich historical and cultural heritage, and it was once the capital of Montenegro. While Lovćen National Park provides natural beauty, Cetinje offers a glimpse into Montenegro's history and cultural identity.
