A vast freshwater lake straddling the borders of Montenegro and Albania and surrounded by dramatic karst mountains, its mirrored waters, rocky shores and wetlands play host to a myriad of wildlife with more than 260 species of birds, traditional fishing villages, island monasteries and pristine beaches.

Itinerary
The trip begins with a breathtaking panoramic view onto picturesque the island of Sv. Stephen and luxury resort located on the Adriatic coast of Montenegro. It's known for its stunning beauty and historic significance. You will enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding sea.
After short ride we will reach Virpazar small town located on the shores of Skadar lake and serves as a gateway to the lake. Visiting Skadar Lake and Virpazar will allow you to immerse yourself in the natural beauty and cultural richness of this region. At Virpazar you can explore its narrow streets, interact with the friendly locals, and sample delicious Montenegrin cuisine in one of the traditional restaurants.
Taking a boat tour at Skadar Lake is a fantastic way to explore the natural beauty and diverse wildlife of the area. The boat will navigate through the calm waters, offering stunning views of the lake's natural landscapes, including the surrounding mountains, lush vegetation, and charming shoreline.
If you're a wine enthusiast, consider visiting one of the wineries or wine cellars in or around Virpazar. The Skadar Lake region is known for its wine production, particularly the Vranac variety. Enjoy a tasting session and learn about the local winemaking traditions.
